intimate safe space for blackwomxnhealing
for the past five years, blackwomxhealing has offered a series of healing spaces for black womxn to name harm, process trauma and heal wounds.
our most attended healing circle, self.o.lo.gy sunday, was started in 2017 at the university of california, berkeley's fannie lou hamer black resource center. this monthly healing space explores body/mind/ soul/ ancestry/spirituality as interlocking parts of our oppression and healing. using creativity and community, we share tools of recovery in intimate, safe, and comforting community.
in the coming months, we will launch a series of additional circles that support black womxn healing.
